Furnace operator wanted in Gwiwa

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Gwiwa, Jigawa State. The job is on the moulding line. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
