Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Logan County, Kansas. The job is at a container port. Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
