Plant operator — East Riding of Yorkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
