Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ijero, Ekiti State. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦265,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
