Vacancy available: we are hiring a machinist in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
