Ladle pourer • Thurston County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Thurston County, Nebraska. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
