Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Your main tasks: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
