Now hiring: restoration bricklayer (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Union County, North Carolina. You will be based on a busy housing site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
