Structural MIG welder • Fairfield County, South Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The role involves change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
