Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Ziebach County, South Dakota. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
