We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Webb County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
