Now hiring: long-haul driver (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Rotherham, England. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day-to-day duties: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Valid digital tachograph card Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
