Visual inspection operator wanted in City of Radford

Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in City of Radford, Virginia. The role involves compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
