Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Phelps County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
