Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Holmes County, Ohio. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 6+ years on the tools preferred.
