Rebar installer — Naugatuck Valley Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
