Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sarpy County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
