Quality assurance assistant wanted in Josephine County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Josephine County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. The role involves record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
