Fabricator-welder wanted in Kirklees

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kirklees, England. The job is on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 3+ years on the tools preferred.
