Vacancy available: electrical maintenance fitter (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in Carroll County, Virginia. You will work in a power distribution substation. Day to day you will test insulation resistance with a megger; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; install LED fittings, ceiling fans and exhaust fans; run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays. You should have: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
