Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level The role involves: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters 5+ years on the tools preferred.
