Finishing presser wanted in Grand County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Grand County, Colorado. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
