Acoustic insulation fitter — Torfaen County Borough

Join our team: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. Requirements: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On the job you will handle: • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant 6+ years on the tools preferred.
