Join our team: we are hiring a window glazier in Kennebec County, Maine. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
