Chiller technician wanted in Del Norte County

Join our team: we are hiring a chiller technician in Del Norte County, California. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders On the job you will handle: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves Full-time with occasional weekends.
