Join our team: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Saguache County, Colorado. The job is in a spray booth. Day-to-day duties: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
