Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Morgan County, Tennessee. You will be based at a commercial fleet workshop. Requirements: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes The role involves buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
