Fire and safety officer wanted in Caledonia County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Caledonia County, Vermont. The job is at a busy construction site. On a typical shift you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
