We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Randolph County, West Virginia. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift Part-time with flexible hours.
