Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (North Carolina)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Martin County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
