Concrete finisher — North Ayrshire

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete finisher in North Ayrshire, Scotland. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
