Cement mason wanted in Montgomery County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Montgomery County, Kentucky. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
