Now hiring: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Pamlico County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy earthworks site. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
