Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Garfield County, Nebraska. The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Six days a week, one day off.
