Now hiring: we are hiring an air conditioning service engineer in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will work at a refrigeration and cooling firm. You should have: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules On the job you will handle: • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
