Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Hart County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 2+ years on the tools preferred.
