Commis chef — Powhatan County

Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
