Argon welding operator • Stone County, Mississippi

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Stone County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
