Immediate opening: gas pipeline fitter (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Adams County, Washington. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. Your main tasks: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
