Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Montgomery County, Virginia. The job is at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists You will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
