Garment presser wanted in Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Washington County, Alabama. You will work in a garment export house. Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
