Wood machinist — Goochland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Goochland County, Virginia. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On the job you will handle: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
