Concrete placer wanted in Charles County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete placer in Charles County, Maryland. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
