We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sierra County, California. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls You will write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
