Milling machine operator wanted in Queens County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Queens County, New York. The job is at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
