Urgent requirement: cook (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring a cook in Livingston County, New York. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day to day you will prepare the mise en place before each service; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. What we are looking for: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
