Safety officer • Ray County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Ray County, Missouri. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
