QC technician wanted in Roanoke County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC technician in Roanoke County, Virginia. You will be based in an automotive parts factory. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Willing to work rotating and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Full-time with occasional weekends.
