We are recruiting: we are hiring a pressman in Dundee City, Scotland. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
