Rigger wanted in Kings County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Kings County, California. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
